I wish I didn’t love you and I wish I didn’t care If I had never met you my life would be more fair If I never got to hold you and kiss your tender lips Then I wouldn’t be so sad and my heartache wouldn’t exist If I never said I love you and held your body tight Then I would need to cry myself to sleep every single night I wish I could fall asleep and never ever wake Then I could dream forever and this smile would not be fake I wish things had turned out differently and our love didn’t have to end But I’m sitting here alone wishing you were more than just my friend ... |
