She appeared to me An angel from Tennessee Frustration, desolation at the bus station The frustration, desolation Showed through her yellow hair Could I take the pain away Or another broken daisy chain Where did it go... Where did it go? The beauty in her eyes Betraying the treason in her heart Running out of lines Too many lines Looking older than 30 something The deaf sound echoing Before I knew it she lied Sunsets before they just begun Too much emotion burying the truth alive Where did she go…Where did she go - GO!!! Will she ever stand and stay Will she ever know Will she ever know Broken daisy chains ... |
